Lea and Andrew | Columbia Gorge Wedding Photography
Oh my gosh I loved this wedding. It was perfectly imperfect in all the right ways. Fun. Funny. Sweet. Personal. Beautiful. Dramatic. Epic. Gorgeous. Full of love. Lea and Andrew really just wanted to have a super-fun, totally ridiculous and awesome party. And then the weather decided to make that a little more difficult than they had imagined. The lawn games and sunglasses they had planned for changed into umbrellas and rain dances, but instead of worrying about it, they went with it and enjoyed every second anyway. As their photographer, I was absolutely giddy over the moody clouds and dramatic foggy skies. Lea and Andrew’s enormous smiles were more than enough to light up the day and keep the party going well into the night. Brides and grooms – make your wedding you own, go with the flow, and smile through the insanity of it all. Lea and Andrew did just that and it was an incredible time. They played “Rock, Paper, Scissors” during their ceremony to see who would read their vows first. They made cardboard cutouts of their pets who couldn’t be there. They had donuts. They served their guests drinks before the ceremony to make sure everyone was already in a fantastic mood. Lea arrived in a horse-drawn carriage. They wore goofy bride and groom sunglasses during their first dance. They had fun from start to finish and when I looked back through their photos I couldn’t help but smile. Lea and Andrew, thank you a thousand times over for choosing me to be your photographer. You two are such kind, funny, sweet people and I had SUCH a blast documenting this crazy awesome day for you. Congratulations!!
